tommy bahama marlin bar

I visited the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar located in Town Square in Las Vegas. They have snacks, tacos, sliders, sandwiches, salads & bowls, dessert, and most importantly drinks!

Address: 6629 Las Vegas Blvd S Ste 119 Las Vegas, NV 89119

My aunt and I were walking Town Square when we were feeling snack-ish and decided to stop in for some food and drinks.

We decided on the Ahi Tuna Mini Tacos and the Grilled Chicken & Mango Salad.

Both were delicious! The Ahi Tuna Mini Tacos was raw tuna served on a wonton shell with some island slaw and wasabi-avocado creme. And I think it’s my favorite poke-type of taco I’ve tried so far! The shell had a nice crunch and the tacos weren’t so mini. I’d definitely say that you’d be able to eat them in more than one bite! (Versus the Nobu Wagyu Tacos… I mean they were good, but these made those tacos look like little babies). I ordered these in 2021, and it was $13 for 3 tacos. Not bad at all!

As for the Grilled Chicken & Mango Salad, I repeat, it was delicious! I mean yeah, there’s nothing too crazy about a Grilled Chicken & Mango Salad, but everything balanced out well! The salad had baby greens, toasted almonds, macadamia nuts, feta, pepitas, dried blueberries, vine-ripe tomatoes, lemon basil vinaigrette, and of course, mango and grilled chicken! The price for this salad was $14 which isn’t too bad either because it was fairly big for two people!

Moving on to drinks…

I really had a hard time deciding what I wanted to drink because they all sounded so good! I mean come on, they have boozy shakes, island rum, signature drinks, martinis, and both red and white wine!

And if you know me, I usually go for some fruity, but strong drinks and let me tell you when I had to decide among the Pineapple Pardisio, Grapefruit Basil, Bahia Sangria, Pina Colada, Frozen or Regular Mai Tai, Pineapple Coconut Mojito, or a Banana Foster??? Yeah, best believe I was sitting there for quite a while going back and forth with my options.

Ultimately, I played it safe and got myself a Mai Tai. I mean such a classic, but still good. The Mai Tai was $13.50… not bad for Vegas pricing!

Since my aunt was driving, she got a non-alcoholic drink… The Hawaiian Fizz, and I’m not gonna lie. It was SO GOOD. It has pineapple, lime, coconut cream, and Q soda. I kinda wished I ordered it, but she didn’t mind me taking sips of her drink so I guess I was a win-win with one alcoholic drink and one sweet drink.

Expense: $5 – $61 (this range includes drinks and bottles of wine)

Overall, I loved the vibes of the place. It reminded me so much of Hawaii with its theme, the live music, the drinks, and the food. Super spot on. I would definitely go back and try other food and drinks there. So 10/10 would recommend it!
