About: The Vox Kitchen is an Asian Fusion restaurant that serves food with Vietnamese, Chinese, and Taiwanese influences. They only have one location and are open from 10 am – 9 pm. Not gonna lie, my first experience? Not so great, but not for the reasons you think. I didnāt have much of an appetite because I was hungover and couldnāt eat anything (info u didnāt need but how can I give a review and not be honest)š„²
At the time of choosing a place to eat, I was looking through a list of bookmarked places I have and The Vox Kitchen was nearby. I wanted to try it because I mean, look at the food, it looks bomb! But let me tell you when I was feeling better, the leftovers were š®āšØ *chef’s kiss* so Iām for sure going back to order and eat it when itās fresh out of the kitchen.
I think the house garlic noodle with the rib-eye steak was pretty good. It was a little too garlic-y for my preference (at the time because I was hungover), but overall it wasn’t bad. I’d rate it a 4/5.
The āSaltadoā shaken fries with filet mignon was *a chef’s kiss*. I think I liked this dish better because it has different flavors going on rather than just garlic and meat. You have the red onion, the filet mignon, the fries, rice, and green sauce. Which all compliments each other really well. I’d rate it a 5/5.
As for the garlic chicken wings, it was good but I don’t think they stuck out to me much. But you can never go wrong with garlic or chicken wings. I’d rate it a 4/5.
I think overall, The Vox Kitchen is good, and when they say garlic? They MEAN garlic. Garlic-y enough that their restrooms have a little mouth wash dispenser to freshen up your breath š
Come give this place a try, they donāt have 4.5 stars on Yelp for nothing! I’m definitely coming back here when I am not feeling sick.
